Welcome, I’m Maggie!
I’m currently a second-year architecture student pursuing a Bachelor’s of Architectural Studies at the University of Waterloo.
I would describe myself as a highly energetic designer who doesn’t just think outside the box — I reshape it entirely. For me, design should always be fun, a principle I carry into every idea and brainstorming phase. In my first year of architecture, I’ve developed skills in 3D modeling, digital visualization, hand-drafting, sketching, and physical model making. These tools help me explore bold ideas, share them clearly, and keep the process playful — just as design should be.
Growing up surrounded by sports shaped my dynamic approach and taught me how spaces can build community and a sense of belonging. My goal is to create spaces that encourage connection and play, because people have more fun where they feel they belong.
